This midnight wedding takes place under a full moon, its lunar beams breaking through intermittently cloud covered sky shining down on the Voldaren manor gardens. Silver lanterns glowing a matching tone to the natural lunar light illuminate the procession area. A blood red rug stretches down the isle, framed by dozens of elegantly dressed vampire attendants standing patiently.
Waiting at the end of the isle is no groom, but instead a large golden chalice, etched with dozens of rubies beside a shinning black coffin box with platinum latches.
Dressed in a beautiful, pristinely white, ballgown-style wedding dress Lady Olivia Voldaren is a striking vampire to behold. Her skin, only slightly less white then her dressed, her neck draped with an intricate golden, blood red ruby necklace. Her eyes, an equally vibrant red that mesmerized at the slightest glance. Her pitch black, wavey hair flowing down toward her waist, intensifying the contrast and allure.

Long before the party can reach the wedding, they must first make their way through the patrolling regiment of vampire warriors who defend this abominable occasion. The patrols are groups of three, four groups are circling the area such that a group passes by every minute. There is also a pair of warriors stationed at every entry point into the ceremony.

Returning an undead creature back to undeath is some of the most mysterious and darkest magic one could pursue. The secrets are further suppressed by the truth that most undead creatures are vanquished with the intent to never have them return. The only creatures with structure and desire to persist these spells are the undead with a sense of lineage and the magical potency to perform such magic. The Voldaren and Markov vampires of Innistrad are two such families.
The ritual requires the following components:
1. A celestial steal chalice. This alloy can be created by taking iron ingots formed by drawing the iron out from demon blood and gold ingots blessed by well-intentioned cleric and creating melting them together
2. Eight litres of blood from an angel who serves a well intentioned deity or archangel.
3. A potent artifact belonging to the person to return to undeath, or alternatively their corpse.
The ritual requires the blood be poured into the chalice. It does not matter if the chalice is large enough to hold the blood, only that it is poured. An incantation must be performed while the pouring is done. After the pouring is finished, you must feed some of the blood to the corpse or place the potent artifact in the chalice. The artifact will be consumed by the ritual and will deteriorate as it enters the blood.
If combat breaks out, each turn on the bottom of initiative 20 the party is swarmed by the powerful vampire guests. Each party member is the target of a +6 melee attack that deals 1d8 + 3 magical slashing damage.
A party member can avoid being the target of these attacks with a bit of creative thinking. For example, they might produce a source of sunlight that would stop the guest vampires from wanting to strike at them.
This beautiful golden necklace with its large ruby necklace as the following effects for a creature who attunes to it:
1. +1 to AC
2. Radiant immunity, or resistance if the attuned creature is vulnerable to radiant damage.
This necklace was created by a pious preacher of the hope and Avacyn, They fell in love with a Voldaren family member and conferred upon them this necklace both as a token of their affection and means to allow their beloved to endure the sun without perishing. The preacher, despite being in relation with an eternal vampire could not bring themselves to embrace vampirism themselves and eventually passed on. The necklace has been a treasured Voldaren heirloom ever since.

The Markov ritual chalice is made from celestial steal chalice. This alloy can be created by taking iron ingots formed by drawing the iron out from demon blood and gold ingots blessed by well-intentioned cleric and creating melting them together
This chalice was used by the Markov family in the ritual that originally created vampirism. It is extremely valuable to collectors or do notable vampire families with enough power and status to know of its existence and significance.
The alloy itself can be used to create magical items the confer properties of both demonic and celestial creatures.
1. Armor made from it can give resistance to or some combination of radiant, necrotic, cold, fire, or lighting damage
2. Weapons made from it can deal additional radiant, necrotic, cold, fire or, lightning damage. Alternatively, weapons could deal a combination of damage types. ei) A short sword that deals necrotic damage primarily and a bonus d6 of radiant damage.
